During this past week I had my bi-annual ritual of attending the Asian Aerospace. This year would be the last year that it is held in Singapore. It's moving to Hong Kong next year. As of for the past shows, all flights leaving the airport around noon were delayed because of the airspace closure. And this year I was more involved by the delays than the previous years. But as you will see from the pics below, it was well worth it. A couple of good shots and right at the bottom, my best pic of the week. (Actually, it's the fifth pic from the bottom.)

This is a Rolls Royce Engine. HUGE isn't it?

F-16D, RSAF

F-15 Strike Eagle, USAF

C-130J, USAF

B-1B, USAF

This is the Pilatus PC-21 Advanced trainer. It's one of the 4 planes slated to take over the the current RSAF Aerrmachi trainer which we have been using for the past 20-30 years. I just love the red!

This is the Pilatus PC-12. It is a single engined turbo-prop made for commuter travel. --->

This is the Socata TBM-700. I have had the opportunity to fly one of these in Australia. I did my training on one of it's earlier models.

This is the newest acquasition for the RSAF. The AH-64D Apache Longbow Attack Helicopter. Fully armoured and heavily armed.

And this is the BEHEMOTH that is known as the Airbus A380-800. I chanced upon this pic when I was using the hispeed funtion on my camera. It took a series of 10 shots and I found this near perfect shot some where in the middle. Below are a couple more.
