My mum only gets constant letters from one particular friend in the UK. Normally about once a month. One year ago, I introduced her to the internet and email. So it became constant emails from the UK every month. Now I've introduced her to skype and the free video call to any computer in the world. She is currently talking and seeing her friend in the UK in real time.
Isn't technology wonderful. If only they could make it easy for the 1930's generation.
